A powerful, polished wine, with fruit taken from selected parcels on chalky soils from the Te Muna Road Vineyard. Fermented in a mix of tank and barrel, then aged for four months in barrique, it has a lovely wet-stone texture and creamy mouthfeel allied to fresh green citrus acidity. Concentrated flavours are more on the stone fruit than tropical spectrum, with lifted florals and tangy lime zest notes. The 2019 Marlborough Sauvignon is also good.
