A single-quinta in all but name, made entirely from grapes grown at Quinta da Pisca near Ferrão. Nose is closed, dense and introverted – amazingly this needs more time to show at its best. Tight-knit and foursquare palate in typical Niepoort style, well-structured with spicy and peppery tannins and bitter chocolate intensity. Long and lithe.
