From three different plots in the large 150ha estate of Ervamoira. The vines were planted over 50 years ago and president of Ramos Pinto, Jorge Rosas, came to notice specific characters emerging from specific plots, some smaller than a hectare. So they bottled them together as a more zoomed-in picture of Ervamoira. Characterful aromas combine both an animal, meaty quality and blue/black fruit, with iron, rust, cherry skin and dried herbs. The palate is divine, showing tangy red fruit layered on top of the plump blue fruit. So juicy and succulent, dark but also approachable. That searing acidity brings so much freshness.
