Drinking Window: 2018 - 2018
Some 15,000 bottles of this wine are made every year (this is the fourth vintage), selling out in Portugal as soon as it's released, such is its popularity. It's the only non-fortified wine made from the rare Moscatel Roxo variety, usually used in the award-winning sweet fortified wines JM Fonseca is famous for. This is a soft, medium-dry style of rosé that has a grapey Torrontes-like flavour that would be an interesting match to spicy Asian dishes or maybe foie gras.
