A new supplier means this Merlot stands out from the other Cambalala wines – excepting the excellent 2021 White Rhône Blend (£6.99) recommended last year and still on shelves. Great-value for the price, it delivers ripe plum and mulberry flavours, soft tannins and bright acidity. A crowd pleaser.
