As the name suggests, this is a blend of three Bordeaux varieties; the 2022 comprises 54% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Cabernet Franc. Winemaker Justin van Wyk gives it 18 months in 20% new wood, resulting in a generous, lightly toasty wine with smooth, juicy black fruit and a touch of chocolate on the finish. Transparent and very well made, it offers complexity and richness without feeling heavy, and it has an appealing combination of both ripe fruit and well-judged oak.
