Family-owned De Wetshof have developed a reputation for their Chardonnays over the years. It's a variety that loves limestone soils, and this wine is made from vines grown in soils with the highest limestone content of the entire estate, along with heavy clays that help to retain moisture. The result is a richly tropical wine, with a fresh, saline acidity and a hint of wild herbs. Delicious!
