Kaapzicht, Kliprug Bush Vine Chenin Blanc, 2018

From a dry-farmed vineyard planted in 1982. It shows generous flavours of roast pineapple and baked apple, with a blossom honey edge, gentle nutty oak spicing and good freshness.

A rich, deep, complex nose of yellow orchard fruits, white peach and creamy apple puree. The palate is fabulously plush, showing honeyed pineapples, leesy yellow fruits and a real crystalline purity. Plenty of gravitas, fruit weight, focus and textural complexity, from Bottelary Hills fruit.
