This nimble blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec has a captivatingly bright nose of interleaved raspberry and blackcurrant. Midweight on the palate, with delicate tannins and a juicy finish of ripe blackberries, a touch of cedar from 35% new oak adds complexity through the mid-palate. A very convincing vintage, this is moreish and fine, a long way from the cliché of southern hemisphere Bordeaux blends.
