Vergelegen, Sauvignon Blanc, Stellenbosch, South Africa 2021

Upfront and intense grassy aromas, with classic green bell pepper and lime essence. There's a tropical side, with pineapple and passionfruit, but it's also loaded with gooseberries. There's so much intensity here, this would greatly appeal to true Sauvignon Blanc groupies. Crunchy green apples and green mango, with superb ripeness and searing acidity. 2021 was a great quality harvest here, and grapes were all hand picked, with parcel fermented separately in a range of different vessels.
