A well-priced Chenin, made by Cambalala – dry yet full of ripe, rich baked apple, dried apricot and waxy sweet lemons on the medium-bodied palate, balanced by refreshing acidity. The Homelands Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2020 (£9.99, online only), isn't new to the Aldi range, but well worth the extra £4.
