Powerful but finely grained, still quite oaky but showing subtle and complex fruit, and a hint of aromatic development potential, with tobacco and dry leaves. Possibly too young, but already very enjoyable. The 1994, ready to drink but capable of improving in bottle, got 97pts. One of those wines to make you fall in love with Ribera.
