This expressive, approachable red is excellent value for the price – the perfect bottle to bring to a barbecue. The four months spent in French oak has given the wine gentle vanilla spice notes that are well integrated into the forward, juicy palate of dried strawberry and fresh black berries. It has soft, dusty tannins, crunchy acidity and fine depth.
