(at Gonzalez Byass Tasting, 13 Feb 2017)
Aged in new French oak for six months, this single varietal has a mulchy, autumnal forest floor nose with a hint of spicy fruitcake. Typical for Graciano, the palate is very intense, with juicy black cherry, red fruit and violets. On the finish, the spice complexity comes through with notes of liquorice and Chinese five spice alongside a hint of raisins.
