From old vines in Bierzo, this Mencia is delightfully red fruited, ripe and fragrant, with some chocolate in the background. Fresh, stony and balsamic, it combines red and black cherries with some earthiness and peppery spice, finishing with coffee, chocolate, cherry and violets, all held together by subtle tannic grip.
