Paco García, Garnacha, Rioja Oriental, 2018

Together with his wife Ana, Juan Bautista García redirected the wine business founded by his father to reach young consumers. Since then, they have been experimenting with different styles and grape varieties. This Garnacha, grown on alluvial soils in the western end of Rioja Oriental, offers appealing strawberry and dairy aromas. The palate is lively and well-made, with bright acidity, and the oak goes unnoticed.
