The titular 'Hidden Vines' are Maturana Tinta, the rare indigenous Rioja variety that provides more than half the blend here, alongside the increasingly popular Garnacha. Unoaked, it makes for an intriguing, fruit-driven style, with some wild herbal character alongside juicy red fruits and very supple tannins.
