2022 was a hot vintage in Rioja; this wine is obviously fresh with cherry blossoms, dried flowers and herbs, strawberries, and rhubarb aromas alongside plenty of minerality. The freshness continues in the palate, with bright acidity from both varieties at these elevations. Bright and linear, with grapefruit, dried apricot flesh and a bright berry finish. Given how well the 2007 Lalomba has aged this wine is in its infancy for a rosé.
