Some might be surprised by this wine’s lightish colour given its origin, but this 100% Arcos (a local variety) delivers impact, structure and a strong personality. Dried herbs and undergrowth dominate, with a bitter medicinal aroma that intertwines beautifully with the intense red berry fruit. It is a wine with noticeable, fresh (and high) acidity, resulting in drive as well as texture. With an attractive chalkiness on the finish, this is a unique and characterful wine. Beautiful!
