The 'Cinque Ports' is a white blend, driven by 90% Chardonnay and a mixture of the other four Champagne white grapes. A discreet nose of lemon and Nashi pear with a hint of smoke. Rich buttery vanilla notes are wrapped around linear lemon acidity on the palate. 9 months of ageing in French oak barrels with extended ageing on lees. The buttered yellow fruits, vanilla spices and the salivating acidity linger on.
