Danbury Ridge, Pinot Noir, Essex, England, United Kingdom 2022

From a warm vintage in the Crouch Valley, this wine flourishes with cranberry and eucalyptus on the nose. Aged in French oak for 12 months, it's savoury and spiced on the attack, with darker fruit and hints of prune, carried by chalky tannins. Very elegant and mineral despite the ripe fruit, with touches of black pepper leading to a long finish. Only 42 barrels were produced.
