Due to reduced yields in the difficult 2021 vintage, the producer decided to blend their Bacchus, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir Précoce to make a new wine. The three varieties were fermented separately in steel tanks before blending to retain their own characters. An explosion of passion fruit, fresh lime, grapefruit and elderflower when poured into the glass, with more peachy stone fruits to follow. Crisp and lightly smokey on the palate with crunchy green apple acidity and more peachy, textured body. Lime zest on the clean finish, seasonsed with a pinch of white pepper on the tip of the tongue.
