A relative newcomer, Uruguay is starting to make a name for itself with red Tannat but also with its aromatic whites. This is a restrained style of Riesling with crisp apple and lemon zest flavours. A focused wine with bright acidity and a rich and weighty texture, leading to a taut, lemony finish.
