Spain's Raventós Codorníu brought their sparkling wine heritage of over 450 years to Napa, and this is the Artesa flagship wine. A combination of stainless steel and oak-fermented base wines, bottled in April of 2014 and disgorged in early 2021. What has resulted is a very nice blend of elegance and richness from this nearly 10-year-old sparkling wine from Los Carneros. Aromas of hazelnut, baked bread, nutmeg, candied lemon peel. The palate is lively, with rich notes of stone fruit, freshness, lemon creme, and spice.
