As One Cru’s 'Chez Gran Cru’ sparkling wine from the 2017 vintage is a single‑vineyard expression from George and Nikki Bowe’s Fort Ross‑Seaview AVA vineyard, a site perched on the coastal hills above Fort Ross State Historic Park at 1,400 feet. Only 80 cases were produced. It is a righteously expressive, bubbly, bursting with rich baking-spice notes of brioche, coriander, and cardamom, all carried on a generous, frothy mousse. Bracing sea‑spray acidity lends precision and lift, supporting layers of lavish baked orchard and stone fruit. A wine of remarkable energy and length. Chris Radomski, a former partner in Hundred Acre and Layer Cake wines, established As One Cru in 2016. Winemaker Ehren Jordan consults.
