An Oak Knoll Cabernet Sauvignon like no other with its Beaujolais-like-bright vibrancy, high-toned aromatic bright red and black fruits, red floral potpourri, earth, and liquorice. Such a wild-textured wine with tannins that are powdery and fine-grained. The fruit profile is clean, bright, and juicy, with a firm backbone of acidity. Quartz Creek is a source for Heitz Chardonnay. Fermented at higher temperatures in stainless steel tanks and barrels. Aged in foudre and barriques, not more than 50% new oak.
