From magnum, the 1993 Corison is ageing very gracefully indeed, bursting from the glass with a fragrant bouquet of red and black cherry and chocolatey, loamy soil tones. On the palate the wine is vibrant, sappy and ripe at the core, leading with juicy fruit that still takes centre stage, and which points to this very classically balanced, Bordeaux-styled wine's Napa origins. Lovely.
