<p>The 2016 Dragonette John Sebastiano Vineyard Syrah saw 18 months in 20% French oak barrels, and 240 cases were produced. The nose is deep and dark, with notes of star anise, cloves, sassafras and boysenberry. The palate is dense and round but with a pleasing lift on the finish, showing flavours of plum sauce, blueberries and black licorice. This vineyard is consistently proving itself to be one of the premier Syrah sites in the Sta. Rita Hills.</p>
