100% Chardonnay aged 11 months in 27% new French oak. Grapes are sourced from Sangiacomo Vineyards' Kiser block in their Roberts Road Vineyard in the Petaluma Gap and a parcel called Green Acres in Sonoma Carneros, planted to Old Wente Clone. Reductive flinty notes charge out of the glass and, with some air, make way for candied citrus peel, hints of tarragon, and high-toned white flowers. Medium-bodied with zippy, taut acid tension and layers of citrus and stone fruit balanced by tropical mango and apricot on the palate, along with hints of ginger.
