A very ripe Pinot Noir from Petaluma Gap bordering on 15% abv, ripe spiced plum aromatics with smoky flint and ember notes. The palate is ripe and densely dark fruited, with notes of ember, dried fig and a gravelly minerality. The phenolic ripeness and elements of barrel char overshadow any varietal characteristics.
