The 2024 Loup Solitaire Pinot Noir remains a consistent and elegant expression of the Marin County site where it is grown, offering many of the same flavour markers and textures as the 2023 release, though with a slightly riper and more generous profile. Aromatics and flavours open with red-berry fruit and mild brown spices, and clove. On the medium-bodied palate, the wine feels a touch sweeter and juicier than the previous vintage. The cool, slate-like mineral character and saline-acid tension are still present, framed by a rounder, more fruit-forward core. Finely ground cocoa powder tannins remain subtle and well-integrated.
