Kosta Browne's Appellation Series ventures to Anderson Valley to take full advantage of great sources in the AVA, including Cerise Vineyard, Knez, Demuth, and Gowan Creek,  fermented in stainless steel, concrete, and wood tanks. Élevage is 13 months in 38% new French oak and wood cask. Blackberry and bing cherry fruits hint at Chambord, while pops of vanilla and cardamom layer intrigue. A luxurious medium-bodied Pinot Noir with satiny tannins and balanced acidity, layering in earthy minerals, tangy citrus peel, grapefruit zest and sweet baking spices through the finish.
