After two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, GW Lussier got into wine, first interning at Pahlmeyer, then working at Williams Selyem before starting Lussier in 2019. Barrel sample, made with purchased grapes from Signal Ridge Vineyard. Bursting with blood orange and cherry aromas, then tart cranberry floods the concentrated palate, framed by dusty tannins and pointed acidity. The finish is punctuated by crushed river stones and cedar and clove spicing from the oak.
