The 2004 includes 2% Cabernet Franc and was produced by Stephen Test. Sources include the 25-acre Profile Estate, Beckstoffer Georges III, Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper, and Beckstoffer To Kalon. The wine was aged for 18 months in 90% new French oak. In this vintage, the wine remains incredibly youthful and vibrant, even at more than twenty years of age. Dark berry fruit and incense leap from the glass, joined by cedarwood and black tea notes that carry through to the full-bodied palate. Intricate, crisp tannins with a cocoa-powder edge frame the wine and build through the long, resonant finish. Tasted as part of a 37-vintage vertical at the winery in December 2025.
