Sourced entirely from the 10-hectare Profile Estate, the wine was aged for 26 months in 75% new French oak. The 2016 is deeply black-fruited, with powerful, opulent, supple, chewy tannins. Graphite minerality and rich cedarwood spice frame the dark, deeply concentrated fruit and wild spice nuances, while impressive length and tension carry through a host of firm, elegant, elongated tannins. A building loamy earth richness emerges on the wonderfully delicious finish. Tasted as part of a 37-vintage vertical at the winery in December 2025.
