Crafted in the image of Champagne, Racines Grand Reserve Blanc de Blancs Cuvée is hand-harvested from their organically farmed estate vineyard, Wenzlau Family and the result of a collaboration between Brian Sieve and Étienne de Montille of Burgundy and Pierre Péters of Champagne. It is aged on lees for 30 months, bottled without fining or filtration, and finished in an extra brut style. Intensely floral on the nose, it offers crisp orchard fruit, citrus, and crushed seashell, unfolding into flavours of almond, brioche, and malt powder. A saline, lemon-zest finish highlights its structural precision and ageing potential. The palate is supple yet energetic, with an impressively long finish. This wine is comprised of wine from the 2021 vintage, with the remainder being a Solera method-style reserve blend from previous vintages. This win is sure to continue to evolve in complexity.
