Ripeness is the throughline in these ROAR wines. Black fruits, Rosella's is the northernmost property, the last to harvest, it sees 67% new French oak, and is comprised of four different clones. The northern part of the SLH tends to show blue and red berries, with ripe black cherries, this is a concentration of alluvial soils, that gives the wines a gritty tannin feel. You see larger clusters in the vineayrds in the north, bigger berries, and less skin tannin.
