Sierra Mar is on the southern side of the appellaiton more granitic soils, there's ample tannin from the 2024 vintage, and that looks like texture that gives a touch of structure to this fleshy, soft Pinot Noir. RIpe and juicy with dark plum character, this wine is about dark fruits and dusty spices, with notes of church candles and even a kiss of frankincense. There's a density of fruit that runs the length of the palate, dusty black berries, black plums finish with ripeness and flesh.
