This comes from the Sierra Mar Vineyard a southern SLH site, it sees 1% Viognier, and 39% whole cluster and spends more than a year in 29% new French oak. Dark fruits to the fore on the nose with wild spices and a touch of black chocolate with mint. Ripe, redolent with notes of amaro herbs likely coming from the whole cluster. Dark stone minerality provides a sense of framing for the very dark and ripe fruits.
