The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is entirely tank-fermented and bottled early, with approximately 75% sourced from Dollarhide and the balance from the estate’s Rutherford vineyards. Dollarhide fruit is harvested over a four-week window from multiple blocks spanning diverse soil types, from volcanic and deeper sandy loams to clay, gravel and shallower, more elevated sites. The result is an incredibly lime-bright wine, bursting with lime blossom aromatics, super-crisp, mineral-driven energy and a saline-edged acid tension. Pithy grapefruit and subtle apricot notes emerge on the palate, carrying through to a long, crisp, tart-fruited finish that underscores both precision and refreshment. (St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery owns roughly 10% of Napa Valley’s Sauvignon Blanc acreage, with three estate vineyards including a 35-acre site and the much larger Dollarhide Vineyard, which has been Napa Green certified since 2008 (the winery itself since 2012). Dollarhide spans elevations from approximately 200 to 335 metres and accounts for the majority of the estate’s Sauvignon Blanc. In 2024, St. Supéry also acquired a roughly 42-acre Sauvignon Blanc property off Mee Lane, now certified organic. The winery is additionally the fourth producer to achieve IWCA Gold Level Certification—a rigorous programme aimed at eliminating emissions across operations—an effort championed internally by winemaker Brooke Shenk.)
