Tatomer, Vandenberg Riesling, Santa Barbara County, California, 2020

Tatomer's Vandenberg bottling is a blend of various vineyards in Santa Barbara County, including a couple with some botrytis. This is a bone-dry Riesling and a wonderful one at that. Sea air salinity marks the aromatics along with early-season apricot and fresh herbs. The palate is lively, marked by white pepper, lemon zest, beeswax and Keffir lime.
