Uvaggio, Vermentino, Lodi, California, USA, 2013

Drinking Window: 2016 - 2017
Uvaggio have been making wines in California from Piedmont varieties for nearly 20 years. They are now the largest producer of Vermentino in the state and believe it fits in nicely between the ubiquitous Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc for aromatic expression and fruity character. Delicate and aromatic citrus fruits are accompanied by floral notes. Honeyed, peachy flavours on the palate give way to citrus and white flowers on a long finish. The mouthfeel is mellow; a contrast to the vigour of the fresh fruit flavours.
