The nose comes right out to play with aromas of blackberries, concrete and rose petals. The palate echoes black fruits while adding green pepper and orange zest flavours with a weightless grit. There is a nostalgic, almost 'time machine' quality across the board here; truly a singular experience. With a history dating back to 1854, the Bedrock Vineyard is one of the most historical sites in all of California, and the source of Wilde Farm’s Heritage Blend. A head-trained, 120-year-old field-blend planted to over 30 varieties, mostly Zinfandel and Alicante Bouschet with smaller portions of Mondeuse, Carignane and Négrette among others.
