Ravines, Dry Riesling Estate Grown, Finger Lakes, New York 2019

A very pretty dry Riesling from the Seneca Lake producer providing consistent quality. Aromatics of dandelion, cut grass and cardamom lead into peach skin and grapefruit pith. The palate is lean, yet balanced with plenty of savoury depth. Notes of smoky flint, almond skin and beeswax all combine in a palate of rich brightness. The finish emphasizes wet stone, bee pollen and lanolin.
