Foris, Chardonnay, Rogue Valley, Southern Oregon, Oregon, USA 2021

A Chardonnay from young vines on the Foris estate Timmer Vineyard, and old vine blocks from their Maple Vineyard. Fairly shy aromatically showing faint hints of peach skin and white flowers. The palate shows lots of depth and concentration of ripe stone and tree fruits, spiced ripe pear and grilled peach take center stage. There is a note of savoury herb but the finish trails off quickly.
