From the Adams Ranch Estate Vineyard, this Syrah opens with a sophisticated nose that is slightly floral and layered with fresh red fruits of cherries and plums. Flavors of fruit leather and peppercorn spice dominate. The palate is structured with firm, chalky tannins, that are showing a bit abrasive at the moment. Tight in the glass, but will evolve and open up in 2 to 4 years for a stronger showing.
