Dark, brooding and inky from the iconic Heart of the Hill estate site on Red Mountain, which was planted in increments from 2006 to 2014 by Red Mountain's first family. On the nose, the typical Red Mountain crushed black stone, deep violets, and cocoa nibs.  Ripe blackberries, spice and struck iron evoke the region's minerality and powerful fruit on the palate.
