Kiona's Zeus comes from four different Red Mountain vineyards, including non-estate sites, Ciel du Cheval and Tapteil, and three different vintages, 2019, 20, and 21. Predominantly Merlot with 11% Cabernet Franc and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon. It's bold, powerful, yet firmly balanced—aromatics of crushed blueberries and black stone, with iron and green peppercorn notes. The palate shows ripe blue and black fruits, pulpy ripe fig, rich notes of dark chocolate with mint leaf, and a fine showing of spice at the finish.
