Decanter presents a selection of award-winning wines at ProWine China in Shanghai on 7-9 November 2016
Decanter showcased 41 DAWA 2016 winning wines at ProWine China in Shanghai, China this year. Visitors had the opportunity to taste a selection of winning wines from around the world at Decanter’s stand (7BB30) at China’s leading wine fair.
In addition, Decanter hosted a masterclass on 7 November with DAWA judge Guo Ying, who guided 80 attendees through 6 top winning wines she personally selected from the DAWA 2016, including:
- Streicker, Jade Series Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon, Margaret River, Western Australia, Australia 2015 (Bronze, 88 points)
- Tiansai Vineyards, Skyline of Gobi Selection Chardonnay, Yanqi, Xinjiang, China 2015 (Bronze, 87 points)
- Akarua, Rua Pinot Noir, Central Otago, New Zealand 2015 (Bronze, 89 points)
- Cair, Ribera del Duero, Spain 2010 (Gold, 95 points)
- Podere Brizio, Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy 2011 (Silver, 91 points)
- Trapiche, Terroir Series Finca Ambrosia Malbec, Gualtallary, Tupungato, Mendoza, Argentina 2012 (Gold, 95 points)
