<p>The sole wine produced from two rows planted by a neighbour in 1999 to Melon de Bourgogne. Unsettled juice was fermented in seasoned French oak. Bright yellow-gold, it shares the tinned yellow peach, saline finish and toasty, leesy notes of a premium aged Muscadet-sur-Lie, but the fruit core is sweeter and more intense and the toastiness is a touch honeyed &ndash; a little reminiscent of mature Hunter Valley Semillon. Well done!</p>
